Great site! My first "proper" camera was an MTL5, bought for me as a present as a teenager. Over 20 years later I still have it - and still love it. It's easy to use, solidly built and reliable.

hi there, I just wanted to thank you for having this page online... thanks to it I just found out that I have the intermediate model between 2nd and 3rd variation of the Praktica.
I've been looking for a while and finaly know wat it is...

Hi, I have just bagged myself a bargain!! Practica PLC2 camera with 20 cokin coloured filters lens blower, Flash unit! from Ebay for £35.00! I am really into digital photography but my dear Ole Dad has bought me an enlarger as he used to develop his own photo's years ago. I am really looking forward taking photo's and delveloping them myself now! I especially like Black & White any tips I would be grateful! and this is a great site Thanks! :o)

Great homepage, I used to have an old russian camera, but it got stolen and now I have a Praktika FX2 and I´m really happy with it...

eine wunderbare Praktica-Homepage! Herzlichen Glückwunsch dazu!
Ich hatte 1969 mit einer Praktica PL nova I angefangen, mit der ich viele Dias filmte.
Inzwischen konnte ich mir noch eine gebrauchte L 2, LTL, MTL 5B, sowie eine BMS ersteigern, die ich nun am ausprobieren bin.
Wünsche Ihnen und allen Praktica-Freunden alles Gute und viel Freude mit diesem schönen Hobby.

Hallo von England. Meine erste SLR Kamera war ein Praktica MTL 50, welchen ich in 1986 kaufte, zwanzig Jahre später und Hunderte von Rollen von Film später, es macht ausgezeichnete Fotos noch. Obwohl ich Sigma SA 9 benutze, ist der Praktica noch mein erster auserlesen, und ich gehe immer dazu zurück. Dank zu Ebay, ich habe eine Sammlung, die aus einem BCX besteht, jetzt, ein BX 20, BX20s, ein BMS ein MTL3 und ein MTL5 B, plus verschiedener russischer Kameras, die Kopien deutscher Kameras sind. Der meiste vom Ebay Praktica Kameras mußten eingestellt werden und reinigten und wurde zu Pentacon Gmbh in Dresden für Reparatur geschickt. Ich empfehle ihren Dienst sehr zu Praktica Besitzern.

ıch besıtze dıe CX 6 prost reflex und brauch eınen auf satz weıtwınkel und eıne neben leuchte brauche ıch beım weıt wınkel aufsatz eınen unıwersal rıng oder gıbt es von cx 6 schon auf saetze dıe ıch dırekt benutzen kann und unter der kamera hockt eıne lınsen batary was nütz dıe wenn sıe so net waeren und mır helfen konnten all dıese fragen mır zu beantworten,
wenn ja schıcken sıe mır eıne e-maıl waere net auf dıe addresse

prima Zusammenstellung, super Infos, das Ganze ist stimmig und hat sicherlich viel arbeit gemacht.
Meine Prakticas sind zumeist Arbeitstiere. MTL 5 B; LLC, VLC, LTL3, MTL 50....usw

Great collection! I used to have an MTL 5B that my grandparents bought for me in England in about 1985, I think.Sadly it died around 1992, but it was my first camera and I learned a lot with it.

Hallo,das ist eine sehr interessante und informative Aufstellung der sehr guten Kameramodelle des ehemaligen Kombinates Pentacon.
Habe selbst noch diverse Prakticas im Einsatz, aber mein liebstes Schätzchen ist die Praktica mat in fabrikneuem Zustand von 1966! Gruss Andreas

Ich bin eher zufällig auf Ihre Seite gestossen, als ich gegoogelt habe. Bin beeindruckt, wieviel Infos zu finden sind. Mein Vater besitzt eine PLC3 und kann leider damit keine Bilder mehr machen, da es angeblich keine Batterien für die Kamera mehr gibt.Ist es möglich noch irgendwo welche aufzutreiben? Oder ein Batterieteil an die Kamera zu geben? Ich freue mich über jeden Hinweis!!

... no more comments..my english-language ist not so good.
Never find a side with sooo much INFORM. about Praktika. I have used a MTL 5B... TOP-Quality-and NO ..Problems... BUT: There is only 1 Point in Germany.. to repair it. Best for you and this side. Thank you!
